The 2025 Los Angeles wildfires were a series of catastrophic fires that began in early January 2025. Fueled by strong Santa Ana winds and dry conditions, the fires caused widespread destruction across the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

 

  • Key Fires: The Palisades Fire and Eaton Fire were the most significant, causing extensive damage to homes and forcing mass evacuations.  

  • Impact:

    • Deaths: 16 people lost their lives.  

    • Evacuations: Nearly 180,000 residents were forced to evacuate their homes.  

    • Structures: Over 13,400 structures were damaged or destroyed.

    • AND GROWING.
